Historically, Trubyte was known as the manufacturer of artificial teeth. The Dentists’ Supply Company of New York was formally chartered in June 1899 for the sale and distribution of dental supplies. Shortly thereafter, the young company engaged in the manufacturing of artificial teeth. In 1914, The Dentists' Supply Company presented the dental profession with an orderly system for selecting teeth according to the shape of the face, the Trubyte System.
